I am an incoming tenure-track Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Texas Tech University, starting in the fall of 2026. Previously, I received my Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin advised by Prof. Radu Marculescu. I am fortunate to be a recipient of the MLCommons ML and Systems Rising Star Award for 2026.

I design and build AI systems that make medical imaging and computer vision more efficient, trustworthy, and accessible in low-resource settings, through efficient architectures, foundation models, and generative, multi-modal learning methods. My research has appeared at venues such as CVPR, NeurIPS, MICCAI, ICCV, MIDL, WACV, and ICASSP.

I completed research internships at GE HealthCare, NIH, and Bosch AI, and received the NIH Summer IRTA Fellowship, the Texas Health Catalyst Award, and the Discovery to Impact Award.

πŸ“’ I am actively looking for self-motivated Ph.D. students to work on efficient, multi-modal, explainable, and generative machine learning for medical imaging, computer vision, and healthcare, starting Spring/Fall 2027.
